Posts

The Omnigage platform supports the ability to create Posts within Pages which allow your organization to present topical information to your Contacts using the same compliance-based, collaborative interface used for Engagements.  Posts allow for the presentation of specific topics, services, offers or other focused information.  Posts may require compliance review if required by your organization's Account configuration.  Posts may have either a  Public or Private audience.  Note that if the parent Page for a Post has Private Visibility then all Posts within that Page will also be Private.  In conjunction with Pages, Posts on Omnigage allow you to create a secure, professional social media experience for your Contacts.

Create a New Post

Posts may only be created for a corresponding Page.  You must  create a Page prior to creating a new Post.

  1. Click the Pages icon in the main navigation menu.
  2. Click the Posts option for the Page for which you wish to create a new Post.
  3. Click the ADD POST button.
  4. Enter a Title, Body, and optional Attachments for your Post.  Attachments are currently limited to image files of either JPG or PNG type.  If multiple images are selected for the Attachments they will be displayed as a gallery.
  5. Select a Visibility for your Post.  Public Posts may be viewed by all Omnigage Users which have claimed their VOCID and have a link to your Public Page.  Private Posts may only be viewed by Omnigage Users which have an approved Subscription to your Page (which may be either Public or Private).
  6. Leave the Publish toggle in the enabled selection if you wish for your Post to be made available immediately (or upon Compliance Review approval if your Account requires Pre-Compliance Review).
  7. You may optionally select dates for the Publish On and Expires On attributes.  Publish On determines when a Post will be published to your Page on the Omnigage platform.  Expires On determines when a published Post will be withdrawn from User visibility on the Omnigage platform.  These two attributes allow you to schedule the release of Posts for specific times and to automatically remove content after a predefined interval.
  8. Click the SAVE POST button.  If your Account requires Pre-Compliance review your Post will be added to the Compliance Review queue for your Compliance Administrator.

Edit a Post

Posts may be edited by the original author or by any Users which have been granted a Collaborator access level of Write or Admin to the parent Page.

  1. Click on the Pages icon in the main navigation menu.
  2. Click the Posts option for the Page for which you would like edit a Post.

  5. Click the SAVE POST button.  If your Account requires Pre-Compliance review your revised Post will be added to the Compliance Review queue for your Compliance Administrator.  Until the revised Post has completed Compliance Review the prior revision of your Post will be displayed to Users on the Omnigage platform.
