Configuring CIA Call Tracker Integration
To configure you Omnigae Account to display incoming call notifications for your Client Instant Access Call Tracker handsets you must first have an existing CIA Call Tracker instance. Your Omnigage Account User must have the Account Admin permission assigned to access the Call Tracker Integration. To add Call Tracker notifications to your Omnigage Account:
- Click on the Settings icon in the main navigation.
- Click on the Integrations option. By default the CIA CallTrackers tab is selected.
- Click the ADD CALLTRACKER button.
- Enter a Label for this Call Tracker instance and the Username and Password provided to you by your Client Instant Access support representative.
- Click the SAVE CALLTRACKER button.
- The Omnigage system will generate an Endpoint URL string. Copy this string and provide it to your Client Instant Access support representative.
- Your Client Instant Access support representative will notify you with the configuration has been completed within their system.
After the above configuration steps have been completed, you will need to configure each of your Call Tracker phone instances for notifications. To to this:
- Click on the Settings icon in the main navigation.
- Click on the Integrations option. By default the CIA CallTrackers tab is selected.
- Click EDIT on the CallTracker instance to which you will be adding the incoming call notification.
- Click the Phone Numbers sub-tab.
- Click the ADD PHONE NUMBER button.
- Enter the phone number of your Call Tracker phone in the Phone Number field. The phone number will be the full number, including country and area code, but will not include any extension.
- Click SAVE NUMBER.
You must now configure this number as a Caller ID.
- Click on the Settings icon in the main navigation.
- Click on the Telephony option. By default the Caller IDs tab is selected. If not, click the Caller IDs tab.
- Click the ADD CALLER ID button.
- Add the Call Tracker phone number, including the extension in the Caller ID field. The extension is designated by adding an "x" and the extension after the number, as in: 18885551234x0001
- Add a Label and select the desired value for the Is Default attribute.
- Click the SAVE CALLER ID button.
- The system will call the phone number designated in the Caller ID field. The Omnigage Account page will display a 6-digit number. Enter this number using the key pad of your Call Tracker phone. You will hear an audible confirmation when you have successfully validated your phone number.
- Click the the SAVE CALLER ID button. The status of the Caller ID should now display as Success.
To share access to the Caller ID with other team members, click the Collaborators tab.
- Click the ADD COLLABORATOR button.
- Choose the Access Type for the User you are granting Collaborator access to.
Read access allows a User to use the Caller ID in Engagements and Voice Calls.
Write access includes all of the permissions included with Read access, but adds the permission to rename the Caller ID.
Admin access includes all of the permissions included with Write access, but adds the permission to grant access to this Caller ID to other Users, and to delete the Caller ID. - Search and select the User within the User field.
- Click the SAVE COLLABORATOR button.
After completing the above steps, any calls made to your Call Tracker phone(s) will display incoming call notifications within the Omnigage Account interface to all Users which have been designated a Collaborator on the Caller ID.
